Data Deletion

Last updated 25 September 2026

This page explains how to have the personal data Vizitka holds about you deleted, including everything we received from Instagram when you signed in. It is written for Vizitka account holders, and it is the data deletion instructions page we give Meta for the Vizitka app on Instagram.

What we hold that came from Instagram

When you sign in with Instagram we receive and store your Instagram user id, username, name, account type, follower and post counts, and an access token. We store nothing else from Instagram: no posts, no messages, no insights. The Privacy Policy describes this in full.

Option 1: delete your account yourself

This removes everything at once.

  1. Sign in at dashboard.vizitka.app.

  2. Open Account from the sidebar.

  3. At the bottom of the screen, under Delete account, choose Delete account and confirm.

Your account, your sign-in sessions, your Instagram connection and its token, every coding agent you connected, and every organization you alone own together with its sites are deleted from our live systems immediately. If you own an organization that has other members, the screen asks you to hand it over first, or to remove the other members, so that nobody loses a site they were working on.

To delete one site and keep your account, open Site in the sidebar and use Delete site at the bottom of that screen.

Option 2: disconnect Instagram only

If you want to keep your Vizitka account but remove the Instagram connection, open Account in the dashboard and choose Disconnect next to your Instagram account. The stored Instagram identity and token are deleted immediately. Note that Instagram is currently the only way to sign in, so disconnecting it means you can no longer open the account until you connect an Instagram account again; if you mean to leave Vizitka, delete the account instead.

Option 3: ask us by email

If you cannot sign in, or you prefer that we do it, email [email protected] from the address on your account, or tell us the Instagram username the account was created with. We will confirm that the request is yours, delete the account, and tell you when it is done, within 30 days of your request.

Removing Vizitka's access on Instagram

You can also revoke the permission on Meta's side. In the Instagram app open Settings, then Website permissions or Apps and websites, and remove Vizitka. That invalidates the token we hold and stops us from signing you in, but it does not delete the account data on our side; use one of the options above for that.

What remains, and for how long

After a deletion, a few traces remain for a bounded time and then disappear: server logs for 14 days, error reports for 90 days, and the change history of a deleted site's table rows for up to 30 days. Invoices, once paid plans exist, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Feature requests filed from your account stay in our development records; they are meant to contain no personal data. The Privacy Policy has the full retention table.

Visitors of a website built with Vizitka

If your data was collected by a site that a Vizitka customer published (for example, through a contact form), the owner of that site is responsible for it and can delete it from their dashboard. Contact the site's owner first. If you cannot reach them, write to [email protected] and we will pass the request on and help the owner answer it.
